Solar panels have been installed on two schools and two more are happening at the end of February.  Julia Hilton and director Kate Meakin are pictured below on the roof of Hastings Academy where a 40 kw array has been installed on the main school building and another 40 kw on the sports hall. The sports hall is already generating electricity while the one on the main building will be connected over half term. Baird Primary Academy is also installed and will be connected at half term.

St Leonards Academy roof will be installed over February half term. This will be our biggest roof so far and will be the biggest single array on a school in the country.

Since the share offer we are delighted to be announce that Hastings Furniture Service will be going ahead with solar on their roof. They are a great local project that collects and re-uses over 300 tonnes of furniture and electricals that would otherwise go to waste, and helps over 2000 low income households furnish their homes. We are hoping to squeeze one or two other solar installations in before the end of the feed in tariff at the end of March and will let you know news of those soon.  If they come off we will have installed around 500 Kwh of solar panels with your investments.
