About Us
Energise South are part of the mission to make the South Coast zero carbon by 2030. By installing solar panels on schools, colleges, faith and community buildings, and local businesses, we want to support the local economy directly and create shining examples of energy transformation for the low carbon revolution on the South Coast.
We are the solar energy arm of Energise Sussex Coast, an organisation set up in 2012 to address fuel poverty through energy advice and other key services.
We are a registered Community Benefit Society, which means we are run for the community and by the community. We are run voluntarily and as we generate a profit from the sale of renewable solar electricity this will be channelled back into our local area of East Sussex. You can find out more about us in this brochure (2021), or find all our installations here.
